To apply for a residency you must: 

  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA*

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree

  • Meet the UNM graduate school admissions requirements

  • Pass the New Mexico Teacher Assessment Test of Essential
    Academic Skills

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Be able to pass a background check

*Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may still be considered,
but the ATRP program coordinator must petition the Dean
of the Graduate School at UNM before an offer is made.
